Scalar quarkonia at finite temperature

چکیده
Masses and decay constants of the scalar quarkonia, Q0ðQ 1⁄4 b; cÞ with quantum numbers IGðJPCÞ 1⁄4 0þð0þþÞ, are calculated in the framework of the QCD sum rules approach both in vacuum and finite temperature. The masses and decay constants remain unchanged up to T ’ 100 MeV but they start to diminish with increasing the temperature after this point. Near the critical or deconfinement temperature, the decay constants reach approximately to 25% of their values in vacuum, while the masses are decreased about 6% and 23% for bottom and charm cases, respectively. The results at zero temperature are consistent with the existing experimental values and predictions of the other nonperturbative approaches. Our predictions on the decay constants in vacuum, as well as the behavior of the masses and decay constants with respect to the temperature, can be checked in the future experiments.

Finite temperature correlation function of two dissipative massive scalar fields: Thermofield approach
The present paper aims at investigating the manner of two dissipative massive scalar fields. Two massive scalar fields that interact with a reservoir were considered and a reservoir was modeled by continuum Klein-Gordon fields. The Lagrangian of the total system was canonically quantized and the dynamics of the system was determined using the Euler-Lagrange equation. Then, the explicit form of the...
متن کاملSpectra of Quarkonia at Finite Temperature
Finite-temperature spectra of heavy quarkonia are calculated by combining potential model and thermofield dynamics formalisms. The mass spectra of the heavy quarkonia with various quark contents are calculated. It is found that binding mass of the quarkonium decreases as temperature increases.a Quarkonia; finite-temperature spectra; thernofield dynamics.

We perform a quark model calculation of the quarkonia bb and cc spectra using smooth and sudden string breaking potentials. The screening parameter is scale dependent and can be related to an effective running gluon mass that has a finite infrared fixed point. A temperature dependence for the screening mass is motivated by lattice QCD simulations at finite temperature. Qualitatively different r...
متن کاملCasimir effects of nano objects in fluctuating scalar and electromagnetic fields: Thermodynamic investigating
Casimir entropy is an important aspect of casimir effect and at the nanoscale is visible. In this paper, we employ the path integral method to obtain a general relation for casimir entropy and internal energy of arbitrary shaped objects in the presence of two, three and four dimension scalar fields and the electromagnetic field. For this purpose, using Lagrangian and based on a perturb...
متن کاملLight scalars as tetraquarks: decays and mixing with quarkonia
The tetraquark assignement for light scalar states below 1 GeV is discussed on the light of strong decays. The next-to-leading order in the large-N expansion for the strong decays is considered. Mixing with quarkonia states above 1 GeV is investigated within a chiral approach and the inclusion of finite-width effects is taken into account.
